Previous Artwork Mainly From the Late 1980's

This gallery holds some of the older art work I did in my teens and twenties.

These paintings were mainly from the late 1980's

Recent Artwork From 2026 Onwards

This gallery shows recent work I've completed.

I started painting again in 2026 so there's currently one painting and a number of life drawing sketches.

I will be adding more as I go.

Bee McNamara (he / him)

I’m an artist based in Bristol UK, and I mainly paint people.

My work includes life drawing, portraits and paintings of groups of people. I’m particularly drawn to groups, and I like exploring how the figures interact and fit together within a painting.

I often bring cubistic elements into my work, playing with shapes, perspective and form. I usually start from observation, but I like to push the figures and compositions beyond what I see, towards something more abstract and expressive.
